These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "Customer") and Digablo Agency ("Typsetter", "we", "us"), operator of the Typsetter service available at typsetter.dev. By creating an account, generating an API key, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of terms

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Typsetter. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.

2. The service

Typsetter is an API and dashboard that generates documents (such as PDF, PNG and SVG files) from templates and structured data you provide. Features include synchronous, asynchronous and batch rendering, template management, a playground, scheduled and webhook-triggered generation, and third-party integrations. We may add, modify or remove features over time.

3. Accounts & API keys

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit others to:

We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law-enforcement authorities where required.

5. Plans & billing

Plans and usage

We offer a free plan and several paid plans, each with a monthly document allowance, rate limits and feature set described on our pricing page. The free plan applies a "Powered by Typsetter" watermark to generated documents.

Fees and payment

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring (monthly) basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method until you cancel. Each plan includes a monthly document allowance; once it is reached, further rendering is paused until the next billing period unless you upgrade to a higher plan or arrange a custom limit with us. We do not apply surprise overage charges.

Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand through the dashboard or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

Taxes

Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including VAT), which will be added where required by law.

Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused allowances.

Consumer note: if you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, statutory withdrawal and refund rights may apply and are not affected by this section.

6. Your content & data

"Customer Data" means the templates, data payloads, uploaded assets (such as fonts and images) and generated documents you submit to or create with the service. As between you and us, you retain all ownership of your Customer Data. You grant us a limited, worldwide licence to host, process and transmit Customer Data solely to operate and provide the service to you, including rendering documents and delivering them via API, webhooks or scheduled jobs.

You are solely responsible for your Customer Data and for having the necessary rights and lawful basis to submit and process it through the service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, API, dashboard, documentation, and the Typsetter name and logo, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted here, we reserve all rights. Any starter or marketplace templates we provide are licensed to you for use with the service; you may not redistribute them as standalone products.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use them without obligation to you.

8. Availability & support

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, and we may impose rate limits and quotas to protect the service. Support is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis by email at hello@typsetter.dev. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, no specific uptime service-level is guaranteed.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated documents will be fit for any legal, regulatory, financial or official purpose; you are responsible for reviewing and validating all output.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a security, legal or operational risk. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. We may delete Customer Data after termination in accordance with our data-retention practices described in the Privacy Policy; please export anything you wish to keep beforehand.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of France will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
