This Privacy Policy explains how Digablo Agency ("Typsetter", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the Typsetter service at typsetter.dev. We act as a data controller for account and billing data, and as a data processor for the content you submit to be rendered on behalf of your own users.

1. Who we are

The data controller responsible for your personal data is Digablo Agency. For any privacy request, contact us at hello@typsetter.dev.

2. Data we collect

Account data

Your email address, hashed password, and account settings when you register.

Billing data

Subscription plan, billing status and identifiers. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Usage & technical data

API request metadata (timestamps, endpoints, response status, render counts), rate-limit counters, IP address, and log data used to operate, secure and meter the service.

Content data (as processor)

The templates, JSON data payloads, uploaded assets (fonts, images) and generated documents you send to the service. This content may contain personal data of your own customers; you are the controller of that data and we process it only to render and deliver documents to you.

3. How we use data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content you render to train machine-learning models.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

5. Sharing & subprocessors

We share personal data only with service providers ("subprocessors") that help us run the service, under contractual data-protection obligations:

SubprocessorPurposeLocation
HetznerCloud hosting & infrastructureEU (Germany)
StripePayment processing & subscription billingEU / US
ResendTransactional email delivery (verification, password reset)US

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (with notice where required).

6. International transfers

Where a subprocessor is located outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data during transfer.

7. Data retention

We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations. Rendered documents and content data are retained only as long as necessary to provide the service and are deleted or anonymized thereafter, or sooner on request. Logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

8. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, hashed API keys, access controls, and encryption at rest for sensitive stored credentials. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for protecting your own API keys and credentials.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact hello@typsetter.dev. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

If we process content on your behalf as a processor, requests from your end-users should be directed to you as the controller; we will assist you in responding.

10. Cookies

The dashboard uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We do not use advertising cookies. Any privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics we may add will be described here and, where required, subject to your consent.

11. Children

The service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
